Abstract
This IDC Survey investigates the latest trends in the EMEA emerging technologies market, assessing adoption rates and plans across organizations, investments, drivers, and barriers to adoption and the key personas involved in the decision-making process around emerging technologies. The study is based on IDC's EMEA Emerging Technologies Survey, October 2023, carried out among 859 EMEA organizations.
Driven by AI, investments in emerging technologies across EMEA organizations keep on increasing. "Organizations are betting more heavily on emerging technologies than the previous year, continuing to allocate a larger portion of IT budget to emerging technologies, with more than 35% of companies allocating at least 20% of their IT budgets on emerging technologies," said Lapo Fioretti, senior research analyst, European Emerging Technologies Strategies.
