18:00	Leveraging the cloud to navigate the ongoing polycrisis
	We live in turbulent times. The sparkle of new conflicts in the last 1.5 year as well as 2 years of Covid have heavily impacted and changed companies across the globe. Energy prices have spiraled, supply chains have been disrupted and these consequences are part of many discussions in recent months. And the old continent, Europe, from East to West is particularly impacted by these disruptions. The cloud can help mitigate some of these challenges, such as decrease energy cost. A survey with 300 businesses across Europe found that moving to the cloud can reduce IT and facility energy use by up to 80%. This is not just because of moving energy consumption from your on-premise to a cloud provider, but the cloud also increases production efficiency; think of predictive maintenance as an example or companies optimizing production schedules based on energy cost.
