Abstract
This IDC Survey highlights EMEA telecommunication service providers' transformation strategies based on the results of IDC's 2024 EMEA Telco Transformation Survey. Between June and July 2024, IDC conducted an online survey of 115 European and 35 MEA telecommunication service providers to better understand how they are transforming their businesses.
The survey aims to capture valuable, real-time insight into the attitudes, concerns, and plans of qualified telecom and network decision-makers across EMEA and the ways their priorities will change over the next two years. This IDC Survey identifies telecommunication service providers' strategies around network monetization and operations including OSS/BSS, AI and generative AI (GenAI), application programming interface (API) ecosystems, and cloud. It also provides an overview of companies' network investment priorities, challenges, and service provider preferences.
