This IDC Market Share analyzes and sizes the European DBMS and data integration and intelligence submarkets from 2021 to 2023 and provides vendor market shares. It segments the market by functional market (two functional markets), deployment model (public cloud services or PCS and on-premises), and key region.
"The European DBMS and data intelligence and integration markets are surprisingly healthy despite macroeconomic and geopolitical headwinds," said Jason Stamper, research manager, IDC's Data Intelligence, Integration, and Platforms for AI. "The market grew 11.5% between 2022 and 2023. Drivers include companies wanting to become more data-driven, needing answers to business questions faster, and increasingly realizing that AI initiatives are likely to fail without high data quality, security, and governance. Organizations are also still in the process of moving their data platforms to cloud, or in some cases looking to multicloud infrastructures, which in all cases require data integration and intelligence tools."
