This IDC Tech Buyer Survey Spotlight examines the perspectives of European cybersecurity leaders regarding their organizations' spending on generative AI (GenAI) in the coming year. Responses reveal a clear "tipping point" between organizations estimated to spend more or less than $2 million in the coming year.
European cybersecurity leaders (including CISOs) should be ready to be pulled into discussions about the viability of ongoing or new GenAI pilots and use cases, and to be asked to devote increased security resources to secure GenAI tools that are being integrated into an organization's technology stack.
