Abstract
This IDC Tech Buyer Survey Spotlight looks at the perspective of European cybersecurity leaders, including CISOs, and examines the key factors these leaders believe are limiting the use of generative AI (GenAI) in their organizations.
It shows that excessive infrastructure costs are the top concern (in fact, cost shows up in several areas of concern), with many of these costs resulting from cloud use that exceeds budgeting forecasts. Concerns around accuracy and hallucination are the second concern, followed by lack of a clear use case and demonstrable return on investment.
