Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight looks at how specific industry sectors are using sovereign clouds from a workload perspective. It reveals that global usage of sovereign cloud solutions for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS workloads is in broad alignment with IDC's expectations and sovereign cloud spending forecasts. It also shows variations across industry sectors, for example, between those that are subject to strict regulatory compliance and those that are not so tightly controlled.
