Abstract


This IDC study forecasts the installed base of the number of connected IoT "things" and the data generated yearly by these things. This forecast study also categorizes the devices and the data across several categories, including computer vision cameras, consumer/connected homes, industrial/commercial, medical devices, and navigation/automotive/transportation. The Market Definition section includes definitions of the categories and the devices in each category.
