Abstract
This IDC Survey is one in a series of documents looking at the customer perceptions of different digital platforms. This document looks specifically at the Microsoft platform and customer perceptions and applications along with the challenges of those organizations that adopt the Microsoft platform.
This IDC Survey is based on the results of IDC's February 2024 Digital Platform Ecosystem (DPE) Survey. This survey was conducted to understand how IT and business leaders are adopting platform architecture along with the perceived value and challenges.
The 2024 DPE survey interviewed 452 end users closely associated with the adoption and application of platforms on their perceptions, attitudes, and impact of the adoption of digital platforms, including breaking them down by the eight largest platform providers and across seven countries.
