Abstract


This IDC Presentation is an accompanying piece to IDC FutureScape: Worldwide Digital Business Strategies 2023 Predictions APEJ Implications ( IDC #AP47847021, December 2022). It provides specific recommendations for two roles within technology vendor organizations: technology sales leaders and technology marketing leaders.

Our research shows that the strongest technology-buying organizations currently are those that began their transformation to digital business years ago before the pandemic disruption from the past three years. These companies are now in the process of maturing as digital businesses and moving closer to operating as digital-first organizations.
