Abstract
This IDC study explores how security technology buyers across Asia/Pacific are addressing their trust concerns and challenges for 2023 and 2024 and aims to help technology vendors better understand how macroeconomic factors are changing organizations in the region and deal with trust necessities. Organizations recognize the importance of trust and trustworthiness but often struggle to identify where to focus their efforts for the greatest return on investment. This IDC Survey is based on IDC's Future of Trust Survey, September 2023. It surveyed business and technology decision makers that had an overall understanding of security challenges, perceived threats, risk management processes, planned investment areas, and the concept of trust. By following the insights provided, organizations can pursue the advantages of high trust, including increased profit, operational efficiency, innovation, sustainability, and other positive business outcomes.
