This IDC study examines the fixed-line services market in Asia/Pacific. It presents spending data from fixed voice and fixed data segments and highlights insights into the trends and performances in the region within a five-year forecast.
"In 2023, communications SPs generated around US$129.8 billion in revenue. IDC estimates the revenue to reach US$132.5 billion in 2024 and will continue to increase through 2028 at a 2.4% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) to reach US$146 billion. As for the Asia/Pacific fixed-line market, the demand stems from the need to support digital end-users, increased workloads due to cloud-based and AI-infused applications," says Swathi Arunaa, senior research analyst, IDC Asia/Pacific.
