Abstract
This IDC Survey provides an update on the adoption of generative AI (GenAI) in Canada and key findings from IDC's 2024 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending (FERS) Survey, Wave 1, which focuses on issues related to GenAI adoption and its implications for infrastructure, platforms, and applications. The document covers the Canadian sample of the survey, which is n = 100. The dramatic increase in awareness of generative AI promises to drastically reduce the time and costs associated with use cases linked to automation and intelligence.
