Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights characteristics that Canadian organizations value in 2023 for cloud professional services. It is based on respondents in Canada to IDC Canada's 2023 Business and IT Advisory Panel n3 and IDC Canada's 2020 IT Advisory Panel n2. The surveys were conducted in December 2023 and May 2020, respectively. It compares responses from both surveys to provide a view on changes to the importance of various characteristics over 2020-2023. Respondents were asked "Please indicate the importance of each of the following consultants' characteristics to the cloud professional services project's success. Please consider all consultants, not just those you may have worked with." The 2023 survey collected responses from 244 respondents across Canada, of which 125 responses from IT respondents were considered. The 2020 survey included responses from 95 participants across Canada, all of which were considered.
