Abstract
This IDC Market Presentation presents a view of how extensively EMEA companies are using end-to-end private cloud stacks including AWS Outposts, Google Anthos, Microsoft Azure Stack, and Red Hat OpenShift within their own private IT infrastructure to provide private cloud services. It looks at public and private cloud use, shifting budgets in IT infrastructure, and how attitudes toward public cloud can push the drive to use all-in-one alternative on-prem solutions to public cloud assets.
Data and analysis are based on IDC's EMEA Edge-to-Cloud Infrastructure Survey, conducted in 2023, that surveyed 1,626 organizations in EMEA. The survey spanned 14 geographies across Western Europe, Central & Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa.
