Abstract
This IDC Survey study analyzes the results from IDC's EMEA Enterprise Applications Survey, which was carried out in April 2024. We asked buyer groups in finance, HR, and supply chain to rate AI use cases specific to their functions. We also examined their willingness to pay for these use cases and other buyer preferences. This study includes actionable advice to vendors based on the survey results.
"Most European organizations are using or expect to use multiple approaches to get AI-infused business solutions. They expect existing cloud applications to provide new AI functionality, but they are also ready to buy new AI-infused applications and to build new AI-infused business solutions," said Bo Lykkegaard, associate vice president, IDC's European Software Research.
