Abstract
This IDC Survey study analyzes results from IDC's EMEA Enterprise Applications Survey, which was carried out in April 2024. We asked buyers in the finance function to rate AI use cases specific to financial applications. We also checked their willingness to pay for these use cases and other buyer preferences. This study includes actionable advice to vendors of financial applications based on the survey results.
"Most European finance functions are using or expect to use AI-infused financial applications. They expect existing cloud-based financial applications to provide new AI functionality, but they are also ready to buy new AI-infused financial applications and to build new AI-infused solutions for use in the finance function," said Bo Lykkegaard, associate vice president, European Software Research.
