Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight explores the growing trend among European organizations to adopt sovereign cloud solutions as part of their multicloud or hybrid IT strategies. It draws on IDC's Worldwide Digital Sovereignty Survey 2024, specifically the responses of 250 European IT decision-makers from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The document explores the role sovereign cloud solutions will play in these organizations' cloud and IT infrastructure strategies, as well as the IT environments into which such solutions will need to be integrated so that sovereign cloud can be rolled out effectively and become an integral part of their deployment mix.
