Abstract
This IDC Market Share analyzes the revenue share by vendor in the Japan enterprise infrastructure market (servers and enterprise storage systems). In addition to the overall Japan enterprise infrastructure market, the report also evaluates the revenue share of each segment by deployment model and by buyer type.
According to Yukihisa Hode, Research Manager of Infrastructure and Devices, IDC Japan, "In terms of meeting new business needs, workload requirements, and overall optimization of the IT infrastructure, public cloud services, private cloud, and traditional IT infrastructure will be used in the appropriate places, and the shift to multicloud/hybrid cloud is expected to continue. In this environment of increasingly distributed IT infrastructure, it will be an important factor to gain revenue share in the Japan enterprise infrastructure market, for IT suppliers of enterprise infrastructure to work on segments that are expected to grow in the future, such as private cloud and public cloud as well as how well sales scale can be maintained in the noncloud segment."
