Abstract
This IDC Market Forecast summarizes the Japan digital business (DB) professional services market's performance in 2022 and the projections for the period 2023–2027 by four major technology segments (cloud, business analytics [BA)], enterprise mobility, and social business). In 2022, the DB professional services market achieved significant growth, especially for the cloud, which is the largest market. IDC expects high growth to continue in all segments beyond 2023. However, spending on simple cloud migration projects will pass its peak in the cloud professional services.
"With spending on simple cloud migration support services expected to decline, it is important for professional services vendors to strengthen both their IT and business services offerings to help clients transform their businesses into digital, data-driven businesses and continue to run these digital businesses," says Takuya Uemura, software and services group manager, IDC Japan.
