本調査レポートは、IDCが世界18か国／地域で行ったユーザー調査「Future Enterprise Resiliency & Spending 23 Survey wave 3」における、IoTの戦略および実行においてユーザー企業が依存しているベンダー種別に関する調査結果を、国内と世界の比較を中心に分析している。国内と世界では、IoT（Internet of Things）の戦略策定と実行段階でクラウドプロバイダーや、システムインテグレーター、通信プロバイダーに支援を求める割合は異なる。世界ではシステムインテグレーターや通信プロバイダーに戦略策定の支援を求めるのに対して、国内では環境構築でそれらのベンダーの支援を必要とすることが背景にある。
