"The top 4 vendors in the market for public cloud PaaS were, in order, Microsoft, AWS, Google, and Salesforce, accounting for approximately 50% of the overall PaaS market," said Adam Reeves, research director, Public Cloud PaaS for Developers of Modern and Edge Applications, IDC. "In a market that grew at nearly 30% in 2023, more than 50 vendors generated revenue in excess of $200 million in PaaS revenue. Successful vendors are focusing on delivering their customers AI solutions and driving developer enablement."
