Abstract
This IDC Survey aggregates insights on workload repatriation plans from the two most recent global surveys on enterprise workloads server and storage infrastructure, completed in September 2023 and March 2024. Workload repatriation from public cloud into dedicated environments goes hand in hand with workload migration to public cloud activities, reflecting organizations' continuous reassessment of IT environments best suited for serving their workloads. Both types of workload movement are part of implementing expanding hybrid multicloud strategies.
