Abstract
This IDC Market Perspective discusses Ricoh's national dealer meeting held October 10-12 in Denver, Colorado. The last national gathering the company hosted with its dealer roster was its 2019 ConvergX meeting in Las Vegas. While many industry events have been held over the past year or so, the reminder of not being able to gather in-person for an extended period was jarring. The event theme of "Vision Meets Action" encapsulated Ricoh's strategic direction to not only highlight where the company intends to go but also to provide a plan of action to execute on this plan.
"After a near four-year hiatus, Ricoh picked up where it left off to provide its perspective on the future of the copy/print industry to its dealer partners. While much has changed, Ricoh is optimistic about the ongoing opportunities within this massively sized market," said Keith Kmetz, program vice president for Imaging, Printing, and Document Solutions research program. "Ricoh has demonstrated a solid track record of strong financial performance and innovation to position itself well for the future opportunity in this market."
