This IDC study presents the U.S. wearable computing device forecast for 2024–2028.
"2024 marks another year of growth in the U.S. wearables market, marked by slowing growth of its two most popular products — earwear and smartwatches — and the rising popularity of emerging products like glasses and rings," says Ramon T. Llamas, research director with IDC's Wearables team. "Even as the market reaches maturity, vendors are eager to demonstrate that new products can still find an audience while catering to the larger market with more traditional devices. In the end, consumers will be entreated to new experiences that stand to augment their digital experiences."
