This IDC Survey Spotlight examines the four most challenging hurdles within the traditional AI/ML life cycle that impede an organization's ability to achieve ROI on its AI investments. It discusses the rationale for why these challenges will be amplified or diminished within the generative AI (GenAI) life cycle. This IDC Survey Spotlight is based on data from IDC's Machine Learning Life-Cycle Ecosystem Survey, conducted in June 2023. This question surveyed 410 IT professionals in the United States.
