This IDC Survey Spotlight presents data from IDC's 2024 Physical Security Survey. The data indicates that although most management levels are involved in evaluating physical security technology purchases, the operational level of management is largely charged with defining the purchasing acquisitions. This means that such decisions will often ignore the business implications of such acquisitions and will miss opportunities to maximize the return on investment of such purchases.
