Abstract
This IDC Survey is focused on the implementation of security technologies, plans for consolidation, and the likelihood of switching a vendor. In November through December of 2023, IDC conducted a North American Tools/Vendors Consolidation Survey, 2023, to gather insights regarding end users' current vendors and tools environment and consolidation plans. A total of 508 North American participants responded to the survey.
Technologies in scope include network detection and response (NDR); security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR); threat intelligence (TI); and extended detection and response (XDR).
