Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights barriers as to why organizations have difficulty using a composable approach for their supply chain. The data comes from IDC's 2024 Supply Chain Survey.

"Without a clear understanding of the benefits, such as increased agility, scalability, and resilience, stakeholders may be reluctant to invest in a composable approach. The advantages of faster time to market, improved responsiveness to market changes, and better alignment with business goals need to be communicated effectively to build a compelling case for change," according to Roderick Gaines, research director, Warehousing, Inventory, and Order Management at IDC.
