This IDC Tech Buyer Survey Spotlight delves into the top factors limiting further evaluation or expanded use of generative AI (GenAI). The survey responses were collected from 612 IT professionals who participated in IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending (FERS) Survey, Wave 1. Growth of GenAI has led to an increase in potential applications as organizations explore capabilities to automate, innovate, and boost productivity and more. However, this expansion comes with challenges that should be navigated and carefully addressed to mitigate potential risks.
