Abstract
This IDC Tech Buyer Survey Spotlight analyzes results within this Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending (FERS) Survey, Wave 5, on the use of 3D and digital twins across ecosystems, and whether GenAI can be a complement to this. In May and June of 2024, we fielded Wave 5 of our FERS Survey to 888 worldwide executives across industry and found that the importance of ecosystems as a strategic digital transformation imperative continues. Organizations realize that many of the initiatives, challenges, and opportunities they have in front of them are simply too complex to address without a varied, flexible ecosystem of partners available to work with as needed.
We will continue to write about the opportunity for applying blended physical and digital approaches across ecosystems for improved operations, as organizations public and private look to more easily collaborate, co-innovate, and engage with colleagues, partners, and customers.
