Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight compares results concerning the adoption of generative AI (GenAI) into production from two different IT buyer profiles in North America (NA) and Western Europe (WE). One profile is technology decision-makers across a wide range of technology purchases, and the other is buyers specifically responsible for buying integration software including iPaaS, API management, messaging, and B2B middleware.

According to Shari Lava, senior research director, AI and Automation at IDC, "Organizations have been experimenting with generative AI and need to start showing real progress in production. Integration developers are absolutely critical in getting business value from generative AI, as the best results come from a fusion of models with organizational data."
