This IDC Survey Spotlight features data from IDC's June 2024 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey. Respondents were asked about the initial cause of the ransomware attacks they experienced. The majority of responses cited user activities as the primary cause. This IDC Survey Spotlight looks at these responses as well as those that focus on security hygiene and software vulnerabilities.
