Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight explores preferences for generative AI (GenAI) model-tuning environments based on organization experience with GenAI. This Survey Spotlight shows that organizations with less experience prefer SaaS or AI platform environments for turning, but as organizations gain experience, they are likely to prefer on-premises environments.
The survey results are tabulated from IDC's April 2024 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 4, with a sample size of 889.
