Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight features results from IDC's July 2024 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 7 (n = 891); IDC's April 2024 SaaS Path Survey (n = 2,875); and IDC's August 2024 Office of the CFO Survey (n = 512). This data details the use of GenAI within enterprise applications, sometimes called AI-infused applications or AI-embedded applications. However, vendors must look at all avenues to understand how to break down barriers to GenAI, improve usage of GenAI in the applications, and provide training and metrics so organizations can quickly achieve the benefits they believe will come forward.
