Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight shows the opinion of global telecommunications service providers on which satellite operator is best suited to help them extend their connectivity reach. Telcos are partnering with satellite operators to deliver satellite connectivity for consumer and business services, where deployment of fixed-line broadband or terrestrial wireless is not economically viable. Data comes from IDC's 2024 Telco Digital Transformation Survey. The survey involved 100 telecom operators from the North America, Western Europe, Asia/Pacific, and Latin America regions.
