Abstract :概要
This IDC study provides market forecasts from 2022 to 2026 as well as an outlook on the Japan enterprise network equipment market, which consists of enterprise Ethernet switches, enterprise routers, and enterprise wireless LAN equipment. Despite the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic and supply chain challenges, 2022 saw significant growth. Given this growth, IDC expects the Japan enterprise network equipment market to continue to expand, albeit moderately, in the future, as the penetration of wireless first is expected to stimulate migration of enterprise networks. The view that the Japan enterprise network equipment market is unlikely to grow has been changed to a perspective that the market is one with opportunities for market expansion, albeit low growth.
"The cloud experience of not having to operate their own equipment and the 'low-cost but sufficient' experience of enterprise users, gained in an environment of Corona disaster and product procurement instability, should be viewed by enterprise network equipment vendors as a solid know-how that has firmly penetrated user companies, not as a one-time event. Instead of trying to overturn those experiences, a product strategy should be developed to enhance them. It is also important for the customer success department to take an approach that allows customers to enjoy additional convenience as an ongoing experience," says Kenichi Kusano, group director at IDC Japan.
