Cloud is seen to deliver better ROI through improved business processes, increased revenue, and reduced IT administrative costs. The challenge, however, is that many of the wraparound services required to deliver cloud are leading to increased costs. These include the cost of professional services, managed services, applications, and software, alongside network costs and the cost of having the internal skills required to deliver cloud. While many vendors are scrambling to provide solutions that address inflationary pressures, organizations need to identify the best option for their specific requirements.
