Abstract
This IDC Survey examines the future spending intentions of buyers worldwide who were using external service providers for customer experience (CX)-related professional services during 2023, and it examines the levels of satisfaction of buyers of CX-related professional services, notably regarding their use of CX services vendors for experience design services and experience build services.
Experience design services are design and advisory services to help clients to ideate, design, or redesign digital products, virtual services, real-world services, and physical products. Experience build services are technology-enabled implementation services that help clients to build customer-facing products and services, involving software and/or process change.
The survey asked respondents in organizations with revenue upward of $500 million about their experience using suppliers of CX-related professional services. The worldwide sample size of 642 organizations included respondents from IDC's three macroregions: the Americas (United States, Canada, and Mexico), Asia/Pacific (Japan and India), and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Spain).
